The cemetery itself is still in use, but nothing to write home about; however, the stone carvings, the Lustymore Idol and Boa Island's bilateral stone carving (Janus-figure), believed to be depicting pagan deities, are definitely worth the detour. There is something about such symbols that is difficult to describe, but it is a luxury to be able to stare right at them... maybe their simplicity is what is so calming, and I am sure that the evening light helps bring a sense of mystery.
